Rachel Hertz is a San Francisco family law and domestic violence attorney at Romanovska Law. She has focused her practice and career on helping others in need of counsel and moral support during some of the most difficult of times. Her compassion, knowledge, and experience make her a welcome addition to the law firm, and our clients are sure to appreciate her ability to empathize with and guide them.
A Bay Area native, Attorney Hertz grew up on the peninsula and attended San Mateo High School, where she first gained an interest in family law. She would later receive her B.A. from American University and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, focusing on family law throughout her educational career.
While attending law school, she volunteered for the Pro Bono Project, a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono domestic violence and family law representation for clients with limited incomes. Her passion for helping people through domestic violence cases carried strongly into her professional career. After finishing law school, she continued to volunteer with the Pro Bono Project through its Family Law Settlement Project, which helps parties reach custody settlements by providing one-day, limited scope representation.
